21-Club 2o1o Reunion October
The Ambuscade Association is supporting the plan to hold a 2o1o reunion for the Type 21 Club on the weekend of 8/9/10 October.
This is being promoted on the Type 21 site

Roadshows will be held in 2011 TBC (Plymouth/Portsmouth/possibly Chester)
The next major reunion will be in Crewe 2012 (30th anniversary of Falklands war)

Our affiliated regiment The 1ST Bn The Mercian Regiment (Cheshire) are currently in Afghanistan and are in the middle of their six month tour. Sadly they are taking casualties.
We wish to send our condolences to the families of the brave who have been killed or injured in the line of duty
May 2011 meeting/mini reunion Reunion will be held on Saturday 7 May in the CRA (Cheshire's Regimental Association) in Chester Castle. All Ambusmen are invited.
"Chester Races will be on that week (Wednesday through Friday) and in fact our own Regimental Race Day takes place on the Friday (6th) at which you, and any other of your members who are coming to Chester, are welcome to join us. The Club will be open in the Courtyard at the rear of the Headquarters from approximately 11 a.m. and of course a beer tent will be open on the race course itself until the end of the last race".
