TYPE 21 Club Reunion

The 2019 Reunion was held in Lincoln on 18th May with a visit to the impressive National Bomber Command memorial on Sunday. Thanks to everyone for attending.
The next TYPE 21 CLUB REUNION 10th Anniversary
was held at the Royal British Legion Club in Crown Hill Plymouth on 12th October 2019

HMS Ambuscade Association enjoyed a mini reunion in Crewe on 1st-3rd June 2018. An evening meet-up at the Duke of Gloucester on Friday night.
On Saturday an AGM was held followed by an interesting presentation of Andy Pringle's Falklands return visits which included his excellent wildlife photography.
Afterwards there was a tour of Anderton Boat Lift -'The Cathedral of the canals' followed by a boat trip down the lift .
On Saturday evening we had a meal and enjoyable evening at the Rookery Farm pub.

Portsmouth Mini Reunion Sept 2017
It was good to meet up with old oppos at Pompey. After an evening in the Old Custom House
pub on Gunwharf Quay, we met for an AGM at the Royal Maritime Club.
This was followed by a trip on a harbour boat around the dockyard where we sailed past
HMS Queen Elizabeth II. Later we met for a meal and drinks at All Bar One on Gunwharf Quay.
On Sunday Peter and Sarah Mosse hosted a BBQ at their home.
There were around 30
shipmates at all the events and a good time was had by all
Christchurch Mini Reunion 2016
Thank -you to David Ingram for organising the 2016 mini-reunion on 13/14th May.
The sunny weather enhanced the weekend in Christchurch.
Friday evening was spent at the captains Club with stunning views of the river.
On Saturday we held the AGM in the Royal British Legion followed by lunch/DTS in a nearby pub. Later, we met for a meal opposite the Priory and moved on to the RBL club for the evening entertainment.
It is always great to meet up with Ambusmen and partners and to see everyone enjoying themselves and we look forward to the next opportunity
The 2015 Ambuscade Association Reunion was held at our adopted town Crewe in Cheshire on 29-30th May. After an informal evening in the Royal Pub on Friday, we nursed our sore heads whilst our chairman Mark recounted his incredible feat of rowing the Atlantic Ocean. Afterwards we took part in a new Ambuscade challenge in support of the Sea Horse charity, by racing Pedalos on a local boating lake. In the evening we were very well hosted by TS Ambuscade in company of the Town mayor Councilor Dennis Straine-Francis

Ambuscade’s long awaited return to Portland
The Weymouth/Portland mini reunion on the w/e of 10th May 2013 was a resounding success with 50 Ambuscade shipmates and their partners enjoying the long awaited reunion and a massive thanks to Fez Parker for organising a real classic. For those who missed the trip we all agreed it was such a good venue that we will return so watch this space for details.
